Part Deux

So remember back in June when I was ranting about all the sudden cancellations of shows (mainly that stretch of MCR shows)...well it's happening again and I feel like ranting. Valencia dropped of the rest of their tour. Major letdown, especially considering that the next tour they are on is the Boys Like Girls tour and the Buffalo date for that got cancelled before the dates were officially released. So, what this means is, unless somehow I am driving and have a car by November, I won't be seeing Valencia at all for the rest of 2007. I understand the reason for dropping off the rest of the School's For Fools tour, I'm extremely disappointed, but I understand Shane is sick and needs to get better, but I really miss those guys. It's not even that I won't get to see them play, it's that I won't get to see them.

Some other dissapointing moments of the last month include but are not limited to: having to miss the Self Against City show in PA at the end of August (again I understand why Lenny had to cancel that trip, but it's still sucked) and missing the Hit The Lights show today in Lima because nobody was willing to drive, even though transportation was available.

Now I know this could all be avoided and I could make it to these show if I got my license and a car. People keep telling me that. But it really isn't that fucking simple, so anyone who wants to say that shut the fuck up, because you don't know my situation. Obviously if I could I would be driving by now.

One more thing...wtf at great (or not so great, but I love them regardless) bands breaking up!? The Early November, broke up. Firescape, broke up. And I know there are a couple others, I'm clearly just blanking right now. So, by only listing two bands it killed my point, but whatever I don't care.
